He has also revitalized beach volleyball at Grant Park, hosting leagues and tournaments there in 2018. He has big plans to continue to grow Grant Park Beach as well as the Milwaukee area beach community.

Tomás has played indoor, sand, and grass volleyball for 10 years as a professional and semi-professional, winning three professional indoor titles, including the 2018 National Volleyball Association Championship, multiple beach volleyball titles, including the 2017 EVP World Championships, the 2018 EVP Winter Championships, and EVP Racine, as well as numerous other beach and grass tournaments. His proudest playing moment was being a member of the very first USA Snow Volleyball Team that competed at the FIVB Snow Volleyball Series opener in Moscow in December 2018. In addition to his professional career, Tomás was an All-American player for UW-Milwaukee, two-time Conference Player of the Year in the Midwest-10, and a freshman starter for the NCAA D1 Rutgers Men's Volleyball team.

Tomás is currently finishing his second year as the Assistant Coach for the Men's and Women's Volleyball teams at Cardinal Stritch University. During his tenure, the men’s team has been Conference Champions twice and the women have placed fourth twice. Beyond coaching at a university, Tomás has served as the Head Coach for Whitefish Bay High School Boys Varsity, Shorewood High School Boys JV, and many years as a camp and private lessons instructor.

Outside of volleyball, Tomás is an accomplished musician, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2014 from the Peck School of the Arts at UW-Milwaukee with BFAs in Jazz Studies and Music Performance.
