AMANDA YENTER, LEAGUE DIRECTOR
Amanda grew up playing indoor girl’s volleyball in middle school and high school. Her proudest moment was being a starter on the varsity team the first (and only) year her high school competed at the state tournament.
While attending St. Norbert College she took a short break from playing volleyball competitively, but continued her athletic career with the track and field team, specializing in short sprints and hurdles. In 2014, Amanda graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she earned her Masters and Education Specialist degrees in School Psychology.
After graduating from UWL in 2016, Amanda moved to the lovely city of Milwaukee to begin her career as a school psychologist with the Milwaukee Public Schools, where she continues to work to this day. Amanda was floored by the size and talent of the volleyball community in Milwaukee, and has been playing in leagues and tournaments year-round ever since moving here. This is her third year as a member of the Volley Life staff!
Julia Donahue, Marketing Director and Videographer
Born and raised in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Julia was introduced to volleyball at a young age, watching her parents play in adult leagues every week—it’s even how they met! While volleyball was a big part of her family, she found her own athletic path in competitive swimming and water polo, eventually becoming Captain of both her high school and collegiate club water polo teams.
Julia graduated from UW-Milwaukee in May of 2024 with a B.F.A. in Film Production and has been honing her creative skills while connecting with new people. When she’s not behind the camera, she’s making our Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube content. Outside of Volley Life, you can find her locked in on a good book, practicing yoga, or playing videogames with her friends! With her father and brother longtime Volley Life players, Julia wanted in on the volleyball action!
Jess Jefferson, League Coordinator
Hi Everyone!
This will be my third summer working at Volley Life. I love sand women’s doubles and coed grass quads equally. There’s no sand monster in the grass, but the speed of play and technicality required for women’s sand doubles is awesome too. I look forward to working at the beach with the team every summer, this summer is no exception. Currently reading through The Holy Bible front to back. I like working at Volley Life because it’s a great opportunity to be involved in an awesome sport and community while getting sunlight and appreciating the Earth; just a great way to be saturated in something easy to love.
Latrell Triplett, League Coordinator
Hi!
I couldn't imagine a better summer than playing volleyball all day every day, so you might as well join the volley life as a coordinator! Our manager, Tomás, and the rest of the crew are absolutely amazing to work with there. All of them are highly energized kind hearted Volleyballers! I am new to volleyball so my favorite format is coed sixes. I like serving mostly because it's the only thing I'm good at right now, lol!

Hello!
This will be my third summer working for Volley Life! My favorite format of volleyball to play right now is sand quads. I am most looking forward to Summerfest, swimming and kayaking in Lake Michigan, and all the different outdoor markets and festivals this year! My current read is, Your Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross, and I enjoy working for Volley Life because it gets me outside and connects me with the MKE volleyball community.
